Requirements

Multitenancy Manager OVA installation requirements:

  • 1 vcpu
  • 4 GB RAM
  • 16 GB Hard Disk

SMTP Paramters

Multitenancy Manager OVA sends email to finalize customers registrations. You need an SMTP server accessible from Multitenancy Manager OVA.

URL Requirements

Multitenancy Manager machine simply hosts the webinterface and the Multitenancy Manager control panel. When files are uploaded, the traffic is directed to the Cynny Space Cloud storage.

To start using the service the following URLs have to be configured:

Custom Rack URL:

  • cs2.yourdomain.com: files storage on cs2.cynnyspace.com rack with IP: 77.95.143.196 and 77.95.143.196

Multitenancy Manager OVA IP:

  • space.yourdomain.com: webinterface with your Multitenancy Manager OVA IP.
  • manager.yourdomain.com: administration panel with your Multitenancy Manager OVA IP.
  • share.yourdomain.com: link to share documents with your Multitenancy Manager OVA IP.

Introduction

The aim of this tutorial is to illustrate how Multitenancy Manager works.
The following functionalities are described here:

  • Reseller:
    • Add a Reseller
    • Edit a Reseller
    • Delete a Reseller
  • Groups:
    • Add a Group
    • Edit a Group
    • Delete a Group
  • Accounts:
    • Add an Account
    • Edit a Account

Reseller

To get the authentication it's required to have a Reseller account.

After the authentication, it is allowed to add and manage Reseller, accounts and Groups. For each Reseller its name, email, group to which it belongs (the field is empty if Reseller does not have any groups) and its potential expiration date are visible.

To get the Reseller list it's also possible to search for Groups through the section Filter by Groups, which is located at the top right.

Add a Reseller

NOTE: It requires being a Reseller.

Clicking on Create New Reseller button to add a new Reseller:

It will open a secondary window where new Reseller credentials have to be inserted.

To create New Reseller it's required to set the Name, email and password of the Reseller itself. It's also possible to include a Reseller into a group by searching for available groups through Search groups (optional), to set an expiry date and the order Id.

Clicking OK to save the new Reseller.

NOTE: The fields Reseller Name, Email and Password are mandatory to create a new Reseller.

The red alert advises one month before the Reseller's deletion date:

Edit/delete a Reseller

It requires being a Reseller. Click on the right-button to edit or delete an existing Reseller, as shown in the picture below:

It will open a secondary window which allows to change all the fields except the Reseller's email, as follows:

Click on OK to save all changes.

NOTE: It is not possible to change the Email field.

Click on Delete button to delete a Reseller.

Confirming the deletion results in loosing Panel access for the Reseller. Furthermore, all Reseller's accounts will not be deleted.

Click on OK to confirm the deletion.

Groups

WARNING: To be able to create a Group, it requires that you are a Reseller to get the authorization.

This section is dedicated to collect all existing Groups and add a new one, edit or remove them. You can organize sets of Resellers into Groups. Groups of resellers have no dedicated access or impact on the actual management of Accounts and Resellers. For each Group it is visible its name and its email.

Add a Group

NOTE: It requires you are a Reseller.

Clicking on Create New Group button to add a new Group:

It will open a secondary windows where you have to set Group name, Email and order ID (optional).

NOTE: The fields Name and Email are mandatory to create a new Reseller.

Edit/delete a Group

NOTE: It requires you are a Reseller.

To edit or delete an existing Group, clicking on right-button to edit a Group, as follow:

It will open a secondary windows where you can change all fields, as follow:

Clicking on OK to save all changes.

Clicking on Delete button to delete a Group.

Confirming the deletion lets the Group lose access to the panel. Furthermore, all Group's Reseller will not be deleted.

Clicking on OK to confirm the deletion.

Accounts

This section has one or more Reseller name, its own email, its Usage (GB) and its Threshold (GB), orginized as follow:

If you click on Reseller it will come into view all accounts in it and their Usage (GB), Threshold (GB) and the button to edit, dowload Stats of the account.

There are two kind of alert to advise when an account exceed the threeshold.

  • usage goes over Threshold (like the red line)
  • usage goes over the 80% the threeshold (like the yellow line)

Add Account

NOTE: It requires you are a Reseller.

To add an account to a Reseller, clicking on + button on the right. It will open a secondary windows where you can set all fields necessary to create a new account, as follow:

Clicking on Save to confirm the creation of a new Account.

Edit an Account

NOTE: It requires you are a Reseller.

To edit or delete an existing Account, clicking on Edit button to edit an Account. It will open a secondary windows where you can change all fields.

Clicking on OK to save all changes.

NOTE: It is not possible change the field Email.
